Tide and Moon

I will forever spend my nights staring at you
Joyfully watch the clouds and stars as they dance for you
Patiently waiting for you is all I'll ever do
The glow that I have is the glow from you
Painful yet I knew, your glow was from someone else too
Someone you are longing for, but sol isn't longing for you.

I have seen you in black, white, yellow, red and blue
I have seen your emotions in different shades and hue
I have seen your soul in full, half, crescent, empty
I have seen it all through
The tidal depth of my emotions are created
by the distance of me from you.

Millions of miles apart is the distance we'll ever be
Letting you know I love you and holding you tightly
maybe really is just a dream for me
What a painful curse it is, the destiny holds for us thee
Luna you have the depth of my heart
I am now setting you free.

-Tide

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
