Tic Tock, Tic Tock

Why must we let your old relationship 
hinder our new one

I'm a firm believer that in one's lifetime 
they may experience love a long the way

But they will only experience one true 
love

I'm not saying what you had with her  
wasn't real

But my question to you is did it fulfill?
She hurt you real bad, but eventually  
you will heal

Please don't take too long because time
is a enemy and not on our side

And it goes by in a flash

Embrace this burning passion that resides
in my heart for only you

I can tell you for sure that I've never had a
love like this

I know you're scared and don't want to 
get hurt
Hurting you is not my goal, if I can I just 
want to love until your heartache is gone

I know you love me too
I see it in your eyes
I feel it in your touch
I hear it in your voice

Just act on what you know is real
Take a leap of faith my love

But don't wait too long because time is
a enemy and not on our side
