The gods are bowling,
Zeus throws a lightening bolt;
Thus, a thunderstorm.

When i was growing up my father told me that is was caused the thunderstorms! lol, and i love the mythology you got in here!

I think it was Rip Van Wnkle who first used the analogy of thunder and bowling, but your great poem certainly adds zest to the concept!
