Thunderstorm

Dark clouds in the sky
Sitting up on high
No bird wants to fly
And dogs are hiding all around

While the wind howls in the trees
Blowing a cold, icy breeze
Suddenly a flash of light
As the sound of thunder bites

Yet again a flash so bright
What was that light?
The power of lighting
Is extremely frightening

The sound of the thunder
Crashes into my ear
I jump out of fear
As the sound disappears
