Thunder Fun
Don’t worry little ones,
that is not the sound of guns.
There’s no need to hide your eyes,
it’s simply thunder in the skies.
Let me tell you how it goes,
so, all you little ones know.
Don’t get such a fright,
it was only a flash of light.
There’s rumbles overhead,
as the clouds are bumping heads.
Then rushing off they go,
as the wind howls and blows.
There’s another flash of light,
and the clouds stomp and fight.
The Earth shivers and shakes,
and all the little ones quake.
There’s no need to shiver and run,
as the clouds are enjoying thunder fun.
