Listen to poem:

A storm brews a cause for coffee, Coffee bruise hearts of fears to be,
Dicey fate of affairs,
Lightning strikes and thunder rolls free, The counting stopped after thirty,
A word to the wise shares,
Precautions have been made, maybe, Fears will be soothe with more coffee,
Good that there is much cares,
Seems to quiet down a bit wee, But just keep making more coffee,
Cause we said our prayers,
And the rain has stopped, finally, Now we can head home most safely,
So we left empty chairs,
For having left rather quickly, All to our homes, separately,
~~Empty coffee pot bares.

The weather round the world has been so destructive this past two years. From snow storms to black ice, to hail and flooding rain to high temperatures of summer and drought with fires and hurricanes in summer, seems we are at rhe mercy of the heavens. Your poem expresses those fears most poignantly! Bravo! : ) xxoo

Seemingly regressed back to a country me, no TV that is, other than the internet--but weather is a staple Connie, Aloha William
