Thugetry

I have been 
A shut in and shut out
Kicked in and kicked out
Strung up and strung out
Sore thumb that's stuck out
I'm not a saint or girl scout 
But I've cut ink and bled out
Mi vida loca like "Blood In Blood Out"
And each one I've wrote about 
Knowing at least I'm not a sell out 
This is the therapy of my soul shout!
I'm not looking for a handout
Persuading you I have clout
I do this for me…
If this you ever do doubt 
Then you can kick rocks and get the hell out

James Inman June 17, 2020 at 10:10 PM Your note made me smile. I think many of us write for the release it gives us. Although it is nice to receive comments from someone we find to be accomplished and we perhaps even admire for their ability in an area of our interest, such as writing, we would likely still do it, even if they were not there. It is a selfish endeavor and there is nothing wrong with that. As for the Soup, I believe they have an algorithm for determining inappropriate content and no human actually sees it.
