Throwing your shoe at a couple on Valentine's Day

Darling don't despair,
Love does not dissolve in the air.
Travel far and high in flight,
Come to rest beyond my sight.
Think of me throughout the year,
Even in darkness I see you clear.
Let winter end and spring turn fair.
Come back to me, my forlorn pair.
