Throwbacks

Let’s take it back to the day
Being a teenager was fun
When even the hardest days were okay

Went to school, came home, then rested all day
Homework, chores, and mom cooked for everyone
Let’s take it back to the day

CD player in hand, music on replay
Burger King CDs constantly spun
When even the hardest days were okay

Watching TV without having to pay
Those after-school shows were second to none
Let’s take it back to the day

Schools out,now it’s time to play
Staying up late watching the rising sun
When even the hardest days were okay

Life was good as a teenager in L.A.
Memories that can never be undone
Let’s take it back to the day
When even the hardest days were okay
