Throw the Bums Out
Today, I thought I’d throw the bums out
When I went to vote, I gave a great shout
As I pulled the lever for new candidates,
I discovered they were johnny-come-lates
Who weren’t any better than the last bunch.
When I read their names, I had that hunch,
That in four years, I’d want rid of them, too,
Trying to figure out the best thing to do!
