~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
dew colors the dawn in halos,
revealing the angel’s song
who plays on and on and on –
reverberating across the horizon,
stilling the murmurs of morn’
singing to the light, a soft chorus
aching to be stolen by the heart
who knows, on angel’s wings
come gentling laughter so sweet
ever after will not be complete,
without this song who breathes…
glory into the skies,
rising high – embracing the new,
light of day, mountains and meadows play
trembling in burnt ginger and auburn,
threaded together by scarlet
aching to be read by the melancholic
world, where angels fly
touching the indigo sky
rising high, on wings made like gossamer
lifting up to paradise, hesitating
then melting through the glistening clouds
in shadows who breathe…
without a sound,
the evening comes quickly
to play her melodies of truth
what has been, in this time
timeless dreams, timeless sighs
on the wonderous heavens
where the angels fly,
rising high, oh so high
in flaming gold and hues so bold
whispering hope, wistful
and alone, the music so old
only the heavens can know
what is spoken, the gentle flow
just breathe…
and always know
in the heavens, where we go
after death, after we know
what it is to try
and what it is to die
visit the after life, where you and I
know the meaning of grace
the music, the praise
startling our spirits, arising
so meaningful, as angel’s sigh
breathing the colors of light
in every breathless lament,
as their feathers delight
and sing beauty to the night
sing grace to those who cry
sing love that never dies,
love, she never dies…
just breathe…
and do not grieve
because forever is our home
where only love is known
where only love can grow
where only love can show
that life was meant to find
the meaning of His light,
the joy in His smile,
the glory that will ever abide,
ringing across the skies,
singing in the notes of why
heaven is where I’ll find
the King that never dies
the King that is my life
the King that stills my sigh
the King that I’ll praise throughout all time!
