Through Your Eyes

Like a night sky
Filled with dazzling bright stars
Like a ray of light
Piercing through the dark
Easing my soul
Feelings that cannot be explained
Emotions that cannot be described
A sense of refuge
Almost like home
The total connection to your spirit
All sounds cease to exist
Except for the sound of your heart
My thoughts focus only on you
Fearing
That you’ll turn from me
Hoping
That you’ll feel the same way
Exploring the unknown
Wanting to learn more
Seeking to see what it is that you see
Forever grateful for your kindness
I see it all through your eyes
