Through the Window
Slivers of light
make their way
into my room
You can watch the
dust in the sunbeams
We're always
trying to catch
a shaft of light in our hands
Always missing the goal
Breathe deeply
The air is redolent
with spring
Let's not despair!
Light keeps filtering
through
Though we can't touch
or catch it
We surely can take
delight
In the warmth
of the sun
As we continue to orbit
the nearest star
