Through the veil of trembling lights, like fallen stars in an abyss
Through the veil of trembling lights, like fallen stars in an abyss
Through the veil of trembling lights, like fallen stars in an abyss,
She glimpses him, a fleeting shadow, a soul unique yet familiar,
In memory's tunnel, a labyrinth of mirrors and unspoken dreams,
She feels his being pulse, an echo of her own hidden self.
Her gaze slips over his blurred outline, a wavering silhouette in the distance,
And in her mind, images intertwine, a kaleidoscope of burning memories,
How hard it was to erase him from the endless museum of the past,
Yet she seems to adore him more now, as the light avoids him, shining only on her.
Beyond the tunnel, he breathes heavily, his tortured soul wandering towards her divine light,
He feels his past hiding in her eyes, a mirror of his own regrets,
And in his mind, it etches deeply, like in a painful and eternal ritual,
The memory of the sword he twisted in her heart, until truth became a phantom.
She, an island of light in an ocean of darkness, he, a shadow among shadows,
Two opposite poles drawn by a force beyond understanding,
Her heart, now synthetic, spitting illusions and swallowing bitter truth pills,
And he, a prisoner of his own actions, yearning for forgiveness he doesn't deserve.
And in this stream of consciousness, their thoughts intertwine unwillingly,
Like two rivers flowing towards the same sea of regrets and unfulfilled desires,
She, adoring the light that envelops her, he, losing himself in the darkness of his own being,
An eternal dance of contrasts, an unwritten poetry of love and loss.
