Through My Mind

Through My Mind

Here is what went through my mind
This morning when I wondered what kind
Of poem today I wanted to prepare
Before I blow my mind or lose all hair.

I really am not a poetry traitor
And consider myself a motivator
Trying to encourage and invite
You to write poems noon and night.

So why should you have to wait?
God gave you poems which are great
For you to write so we all can read;
So in us, He planted a poetry seed.
