Through My Eyes
What makes you so special
To a simple man like me
Is it your beauty on the outside
Or that which goes unseen
Is it the bond we've shared for so many years
Or how we share our souls
For with you I have no fear
To the ends of earth I'd go
Is it the comfort in the knowing
Your just a whisper away
My first thought in the morning
You brighten each new day
Words are all I have
In my quest for you to know
Some thoughts of you forbidden
Not always pure as snow
I doubt you'll ever understand
These thoughts I have inside
Unless somehow you could read my mind
And see you through my eyes
