Through My Eyes
Hey, I know what you thinking, know how you feel
As you take one step towards me I take ten steps away
You just want me to be happy
My brain processes it, my heart just ignores it
Hey, Know why you want me to do this
You just want me to be independent
You want be to earn in millions
That is my plan trust me that truly is.
It is just that I don’t want to take the same path you suggest
I want what you want for me
Fame and fortune
I want it more than you know
But just through a different path
Want to wait till I find my way
My dream, my life, my love
Because once I do I will make you proud,
Just want to be happy,
Want to do what I love to do
I know it is hard for you watch
Me stumble and tremble and fall
But please be patient, I know it sucks
But I ask you to be patient
Cause I am not lost, but just figuring a way to get me out
Be patient and please don’t lose hope
I promise that one day you will be proud
Please give me time,
Time for me to figure it out
