Through It All
The battle has been so fierce
The day breaks with a hope
A new beginning
Making up for the time lost
Exploiting every effort and strength
Testing one alternative after another
Exhausting all I could muster
Soon the sun will set
With my dream yet to see the light
My drives yet to bear fruit
And nothing could stand on another
My heart faints
My hands fall
Everything suggests helplessness
All through, the heart has heard one sound
A word has been spoken to my being
‘You are not alone on this’
‘I have been with you all the way’
