Through Heartache
Trying to keep my emotions in check
Not letting the world frustrate me
So I have more time to reflect
Every time I take another pill
I think about this journey
How I'm traveling uphill
Let so many things hold me back
Scared of having an anxiety attack
Been through heartache and pain
Somehow been able to sustain
This world will not hold me back
I have to watch the way I react
Have a plan of attack
That feeling of feeling defeated
Feeling mistreated
That's no longer me
This is my battle plan
Took me awhile to understand
Who I really am
