Through Cats Eyes

Imagine being a cat just once in your life
And seeing a whole different world
Perched on top of the fridge,
With your body being curled,
Watch the activity swirl around you.

You need not worry about being bothered
The humans, can’t seem to reach you
And the younger cat to fat to jump high,
So now you relax, taking in the view.

Once again bored, you leap down
Bat a toy mouse on the way to the food
You sit licking your paws after your meal,
Wondering just what to do next,
Then you see it, a mouse that is real!

Yes I've been working on this poem for the past 21 years I started out with the first 3 lines then it just stopped there then within the past few months I seen one of the 2 cats I do have now on top of the fridge so I took off with the rest, and thanx.
