Through a Child's Eyes
If you smile at a child, they'll smile back no matter what you look like
Children don't care about your race, gender or your size
They don't have the mindset to hate, judge or fight
It would be so much better if we all could look through a child's eyes
Every child is born without any hate in their heart
They don't care about your skin colour and will laugh if you play games with them
They're a lot smarter than adults who let ignorant reasons to keep them apart
Instead of dismissing kids, we should try and be the same as them
Kids don't judge based on race, beauty or looks
They'll be grateful if you give them attention or read them a book
They don't follow trends, or join hate groups
Most children have better morales than adults And that's the truth
A kid will grab your hand and show love
No matter what skin colour you have
Sometimes I think children are more mature than grown ups
We don't give kids enough credit and I think that's sad
A child won't ignore you for being different
They'll embrace you if you sit with them
They'll laugh and joke with all of their parents friends
They don't judge a soul & that's the best message a person can send
If you smile at a child, they'll smile back no matter what you look like
Children don't care about your race, gender or your size
They don't have the mindset to hate, judge or fight
It would be so much better if we all could look through a child's eyes
