Through
Through
Every artist has a dream,
That a masterpiece made by imagination
Might manipulate the morality of millions
Amiably molding minds
Into an improved method of empathy
Through impression
A painter paints a portrait of peace
Possibly provoking the population with pictures of splendor
Politely on a platform portraying paradise
Through paint
A composer carefully
Selects chords of confidence
To create a score
A fantastic orchestra of harmonic descants
To calm the conscious of mankind
Through lyric
A singer sings a sweet serenade to soothe the savage
Using sounds of suffering to persuade civilization
To resolve all differences peacefully
Through song
A director directs dramatic dreams
To deliver a dominant documentary on how dangerously the world
Is on the border of destruction
Through drama
Every preacher prays that the people in the pews
Will display penance for their corrupt past
Then return to repenting and worshiping
The Omnipotent properly
Through prayer
Every poet pens a splendid poem of prose
To appease the rapid temper of the peoples’ passions
Helping to promote a positive place
That can be passed down to offspring
Through poetry
The truth is that we continue to remain different by choice;
Every race wants to be the superior race
Failing to realize that there is on one race…
The human race
Until we have the decency to understand each other
With honest hope and love
There will always be hate
There will always be fear
There will always be war
And we will always be on the verge…of being through.
