Thrift Shop Words

I went to the BIG
bookstore and read
poetry by every author
that has been published.
Now, I can imitate them.
I can write you poetry.
I can give you a page of
thrift shop words—words
that belonged to someone else.
Please take them.
Hold on to them.
Hold on to me.
Soon, I will suffocate
you with my own words.
