Thresholds of You
Ahhhh, here I stand
Once again upon the thresholds of you
With a haste of one chased, I cast open a door
Eyes searching, soul reaching, tongue thirsting for
The depth of you
The immeasurable, unfathomable, cool waters green-blue
Washing over the parched angles of my being
Mouth agape drawing breath to feed a heart now freeing
This breeze across my spirit slaked a mind's eye now seeing
The breadth of you
The sweeping, majestic soft skies of soothing amber hue
Casting its contrasting glow upon the curves of my being
Eyes agape admiring a beauty to feed a lust foreseeing
This warmth throughout my core, gentle touch guaranteeing
The radiance of you
The indomitable, unconquerable, your subtle passions true
Attracting with such gravity the lacy fiber of my being
Arms agape welcoming the soft spirit wind of souls geeing
This urgent pull within my heart, profound proclivity keying
The affinity of you
Yes, here I stand
Peace again upon the thresholds of you
I am chaste by Love graced with the key to one amore
Eyes holding, soul interlacing, tongue quenched before
The whole of you
I shall journey through
This landscape of you
For this I owe a due
Me and lovely you
