Three Years Since You--
It has been three years since you left this life
Not a day goes by that you are not in my thoughts
Every moment is filled with things I want to share with you
Every moment filled with sadness because I cannot
The loss of you can never be measured in time
For your life was cut short yet your essence
Remains in those you left behind.
In my mind’s eye I can still see you and hear your voice
As if you were walking into the space I am in
I often pause and wonder if you can see us, your friends
Your family, everyone whose life you touched
I hope that God has taken you into His grace
I hope your guardian angel is guiding you;
For death is only the beginning and
There is still much to learn for your next journey
I hope to see you once more my friend
For I am certain we shall meet again.
May God keep you and bless you always
May He shine His light upon us as we remember you.
