Three Wishes Beheld
Oh genie in a bottle
please come to me
grant me thou
my wishes
limitless and free-
First wish that I seek
that my tears
be as sand and sea
pain ever removed
for as the Gaelic shores
I would cry nevermore-
Second thing that I ask
is really a simple thing
to never know the
sadness that life
ever brings
for I would be as
sunlight always bright
for those around me
an ever guiding light-
My third and final wish
grant me one more hour
of knowledge
to write these words
within my heart
for in etching them on
paper my legacy
will never part-
