Three Wise Monkeys

Three Wise Monkeys

Many years ago when I was a child, I remember my
Brother going to the Easter Sow and bringing back
a show bag, it contained mainly sweets and
confectionary and also a small model of three
monkeys sitting next to each other the strange thing
was they all had their hands covering a different
part of the head, I found out later they were the
three wise monkeys who symbolised the three deadly
sins, see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil, by
following these rules, people would lead the perfect
life. Even now I still remember back to that time
the three monkeys have since disappeared but
their memories and their message will live forever.

Very good. Funny what impressions stay with us. Will have to read more of your work. So should your politicians. Regards from David in NZ. I predict another NZ Australia Cricket world cup final. Same for Rugby.

Thank You Dr Ram, I like to do poetry on ancient cultures, the bizarre and the extraordinary including ghost stories and gothic tales, I also do the normal poem as well I keep changing genres so not to get bored writing, I am glad you enjoyed my little story as this really happened it was not the original sculpture but a cheap imitation
