Three Ungranted Wishes

I want to go home
 You can't.
 You passed through the gates,
and locked the door and it
 has passed to someone else.
 I want to be
 rescued
 by an old
 bearded man.
 You can't.
 You have
 become that.
 I want
 to forget.
 You can't
 You don't
 control the memories.
