For The Contest, “Three Sides To Every Story”

They traveled along the old trail
and soon found the lake they would sail.
The sky was so clear-
their hearts filled with cheer!
A perfect boat ride will prevail.
The water was calm and serene.
She said, “What a great shade of green!”
He said, “It is blue!”
“Look close, for it's true!”
Their guest said, “It's aquamarine!”
You see, there are sides to the truth
that often resist better sooth.
Side One is part fact-
Side Two- part unbacked!
The Third becomes the solving sleuth.
