Three Kittens Discuss Covid 19

Three kittens were concerned about
Coronavirus going round,
Because only people so far
Were the chosen ones catching it.
They knew from news on their TV
That many thousand peoples died
And pondered if it would want to
Get into animals like them?
So far, so good, they still were free
From wearing face masks when they go
Outside to play and wash their paws
As human folks should wash their hands.
They’ve heard that some refuse to wear
Face masks and distance when outside
And thought that those who did might be
The covid-19’s next victims.
They all agreed that they would do
What health officials told them to
And hoped the stubborn would soon change
Before “Sir” Covid did change them.
