Three Keys
Keys missing again,
Not one key to be found,
We looked high and low,
Everywhere!
The cooker the fridge,
Coats, bags, pockets,
Chairs, upstairs downstairs,
Under, over,
Frustration, anger,
As we ran through the house,
It happened every time we were in a rush,
Time and time again,
We should've learnt from our mistakes,
Should have put them in a safe place,
I blamed him, he blamed me,
It must be the children,
How can three keys just go missing?
We left the door opened!
For ten years while we lived in that house,
The door was always open,
No more stress,
My motto was if anybody breaks in,
They would feel so sorry for us,
They would leave us a present,
After a while we got a new door,
With three new keys,
But we never lock that door.
And we kept our keys safely hidden.
Missed contest again
