Three For Herself, One For Karen

AS IN FOX HUNTING'S "Gone TO Earth"

        You've gone to Sky:
Your side of the bed's not slept on.

        Her side's been wept on.

ADHD

        Attention deficit's a given

In the Golden Age she's livin'.

NO CARIBBEAN CRUISE

        She's no longer a slimbo.

        She cannot do the Limbo.

ELEGY FOR ISAK
in her final days, she ate only oysters & Champagne

For one who wrote "Babette's Feast",
        Where they celebrated the Most,

        She celebrated the Least.

This is typical Nola. Love how you can always find humor, even in sad times, even when you say your mother didn't like you. I thought that part of Kir Queen was priceless, but brought a chill and a tear. BIG LOVE, daver
