Threads Unworthy

Overwhelmed with kisses from the dead
I scratch the color from your rainbows
Mystified by holy drone
Erasing my name from this parchment
It is soaked up like vapor
While I rest being defined
Taming casual plight twisting with anger
Knotted in the wind and snagging on air
Vacant openings for sadness remind me
Of nothing I could do better
Failing old phantoms I promised my soul
Leaving me the day to waste
...
Bloodshed skips happily past this girl
Her wrists scream for him to hold her
Scrutiny places its hand
On the words she wont speak
Chains fall away from ankles bare
Lifting her body from this soaken mold
Her face pronounced with beauty
Heartache extends its wrath in every light
Dismissing her with less than words
