Thoughts While the Ink Was Drying

The day just past my head was filled with you, Inside the realm of thoughts that keep and hold A common goal, what else was I to do But sit and smile as lambs do in the fold. For when you come and near yourself to me I feel the lonely wait well worth the time, For with my eyes I wish for you to see And do extend my hand and heart to thine. Your feeling touch it warms me, flames my soul To warmth of lovers loving life, and you With the beauty found within the whole Of things to share, I'd like with you to do. The theme these words have woven true, I wish For you to know I feel them like a kiss.
