Thoughts Where Silence Springs

Thoughts where silence springs
on the shores of Maine
playing on the sands and sea around us
she touched the earth and it touched her back and let it s
words direct her

She looked beneath the sea and rocks
she came to see the joys of life
of sense and wonder at the infinity of the pebbles by the sea
she talked of soil plowed and tilled
and how we grow our food
if it’s safe to eat and play around
our man made chemicals

She told of nature’s ebbs and flows
the rhythms and its tides and how the seasons ride
she spoke of natures wonder pushed by gentle breeze
embraced at natures side she talked of natures balance
of water waste and poisons
and how all is one

Courage and strength not to submit or yield was her decreed
and what one needs to over come mans strife to deflower
nature’s majestic towers
