Thoughts To Words

Straight from the dungeons of my mind
Where cobwebs hung and thrived
Came thoughts like never ever before
That made me feel alive
Each thought, it made my smile wide
As dreams then seemed to flow
Allowing me a happier morn
With happiness then to know

No more, the darkness, musty scent
No more, the dungeons cold and bare
For thoughts escaped and settled here
That leave me in a blissful stare
So now, my fingers peck the thoughts
Or pen, with ink, gets set to write
The thoughts they flow now, out as words
Appearing for my sheer delight
