Thoughts That Slave

Poetic secrecy,
can’t ever give it up;
Keep that inspiration
the small sip of the cup,
cover the addiction;

Poetic secrecy,
favorite pen’s hidden shade;
What you’re tapping into
when you ask for a trade
so you can continue;

Poetic secrecy,
just let them see the art;
No need to feel the wave
that made you fall apart
breaking the thoughts that slave.
