Thoughts of Thanks

Through this day, I will be thoughtful...and thankful.
Thank you, Lord, for leaving me a living talent to control.
Thank you, God, for giving me a good look into my soul.
Thank you, to Those who have thus helped me be full.
Thank you, to All Those who through time did not put up with my bull.
Thank you, Dear Wife, for wedding me and adding your love to my fuel.
Thank you, Son, for singularly keeping my rules.
Thank you, Dear Family, for the dreams and memories of so many Yules.
Thank you, Teachers, for taking the time with me in school,
Thank you, Neighbors, when you knowingly let me borrow that tool.
Thank you, Friends, for your forgiveness when I've been a mule.
Thank you, to Those Who Died, that this country might be a jewel.
Thank you, as I agonize again and again on being a fool.
Throughout each day, am I never Thoughtful enough, or Thankful.
