Thoughts of Suicide

Every day I wake up with the hope I'll survive
Hoping Depression leaves with my thoughts of suicide
Praying my fake smile is enough to hide the pain in my eyes
Every day im trying to kill my thoughts of suicide

Heart full of pain and a head full of problems
Let me ease it with red bull and Vodka
But I'm bipolar and it doesn't mix well
Demons screaming at me, while I'm just trying to sit still

Depression telling me, I'm wrong for leaving the blade behind
Quit Self-harming, Depression kidnapped me and left me tied to the chair
Telling me i suck, and I'm not good enough, were the words it would provide in My ear
I know I'm guilty of putting too much emotion into my page of rhymes

I should probably hold back, and think it through first
But I abuse ink, cause I know the drink will do worse
I won't be the one to link a new hearse
That's my motto every time I ink a new verse

When I was 17 and I took an overdose of pills
I survived and knew I was supposed to heal
It wasn't a mistake, it was a learning curve
I'll find happiness, but it has to be on my terms to work

Can you forgive me for being a flawed human being?
I'm gaining new scars while my old ones are still bleeding
I'm just trying to find a way to survive
I'm just trying to kill my thoughts of suicide
