Thoughts of God
Another year has gone
a new one come
as I praise the one
who gave me life.
I have seen strife
and pain as I strive
to let him shine
as a light for someone.
I have received grace
and patience
and love
from up above.
His son came
and died in shame
for you and me
as the vail was tore
they stood in awe.
Lord let me
stand in awe
with all you made
and do in my life.
