Thoughts of Eternity

I often sit and wonder about eternity 
And what impact it will have on little finite me
There is a void of endlessness; as far I can see
Without shape, or light, or color, or diversity
I’m often frightened when I think that I will have no end
With nothing to do but sit around with an eternity to spend

Eternity is not this life as we know it. I agree with you,how boring that would be. Eternity is the world at peace with plenty to do. Evil people will not be there. And so Inam ready for a new life, in a new body,we were created to die Seek spiritual leaders, perhaps? I found my answers...it took decades. Great poem ,Warren Love, Panagiota

I've wondered what it might be like; I hope we're not sitting around, bored. I like to think that we'll be masters of whatever we're mediocre at, here on earth. After my father passed, I had dreams of him gardening and working with wood in the afterlife; he seemed happy in the dreams...those are things he loved doing here but, never had the time to perfect. I hope that I'm at least close in my guess. Well penned.

Love this deep. contemplative poem my friend. My understanding is there will be work to perform in the hereafter, as this universe is endless and just perhaps there will be billions of other worlds that need tending to as God's messengers!
