Thoughts From a Distance

Touching a screen
Reflection of fingerprints
Your skin so soft

I weep
Distance prevails
Yet you are near

Canopy for my bed
Visions appear
A single portrait of you

I hear nothing
I see something
I want everything

Weaving words
Building a web of thoughts
Left alone in a corner

Yet again
I touch the screen
Your skin so soft
