Thoughts

I thought I had the answers. I thought I knew the way. I thought I could do it all. I thought I shouldn't say. I thought, I thought, I thought too much. A prisoner in my own head, I thought. Caught up in a fanciful reality that I thought. No way out, but one; I thought. You showed me that I can calm my mind. That I can leave those thoughts behind. My mind may race, but I have control now.
