Thought For the Day When Gated
Had I a duplicate of mine
I would surely go to town;
Confusing all authority,
I would boldly roam around.
Were there a duplicate of mine
I would surely see the A’s;
Seeing all there is to see,
I would satisfy my craze.
If only there was a duplicate
I would surely go today;
Over looking all formality,
I would enjoy the blessed day.
My very first poem written 39 years back:
Inspired by Yeats poem
