Thought
Quick as clouds,
embellished in rainbow hues,
a morning on the mountains lives
free of restraint.....
an hour before
thoughts as perilous as
wildfires
jumped like monkeys
in the car,
en route to the state park,
til,
that sunbeam removed the morning mist,
and those rogue kids of toxic thought
disbanded like fleeing gypsies
as God's eraser of light
brought us back
to breath and the now of precious moment.
