Though Shalt Not Kill Love

A stronger man inside true faith 
he will always turn the other cheek
in the end  
Our precious Lord and Heavenly Master 
He received 5480 blows to honor his wounds we pray 
not executing vengeance as it carries so much hate 
such dark power destroys a soul 
Take a good look at the world as is
greed eating out all good In darkness 
Love is so pure a light 
one look at its full 
whole embracing pureness 
dazzling we all will bow 
Meek and gentle lambs kissing 
we will kneel humble at our Creators feet 
Our hearts tell us what is right in the end 
happiness we all truly seek 
God's justice not mans to carry out

This is so powerful and beautifully stated with so much gentleness and love, my dear friend Liam. And I agree with you! The world is a mess. Sadly too many folks go around killing love one way or another. Most people don't give a darn about love, true love or whatever, all that they care is money power having fun and hurting people for no reason.Very proud of you for penning this jewel, Liam.Very nice and spiritual in nature in the true and loving teachings of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. i broke down crying in his love in prayer when i wrote this such pure love taking our sins away sara this world can be so cruel at times it saddens me to watch telly these days nothing is getting better in fact worse thank you dear friend wonderful comment got me thinking bless you

Fortunately Jesus does not exact justice but rather offers us forgiveness. Therefore I choose to follow his example. This is an impossible task without seeking His heart and strength.

It looks like that comment you posted on my poem bloomed into a whole 'nother poem... cool! I just love your passion for the scripture and your dedication to doing what is right. You penned a great poem! I just wanted to one thing though... before our hearts tell us what is right, we must LEAD our hearts in the right direction. For it says in the Bible, that he who follows his own heart is a fool. Our hearts must seek God, before we dare follow it :)
