Those Who Don'T Forgive

I know my sin,
Where do yours begin?
Are you more deserving than God?
That you can not spare the rod.
When I continue to pay and pay,
Seeking forgiveness everyday.
My suffering you feel is deserved..
When, in your mind, is justice served.?
On the pedestal which you stand,
You are unwilling to understand.
The empty place from which I fled,
Into the mind of the living dead.
A heart that feels betrayed and lost,
Is unconcerned about the cost .
When you continue to deny,
The things you said that made me cry.
Is there place where you hide it all?
Between the paint and the glow on the wall,
Those flaws that you never show,
So no one will ever know.
