Those Who Campaign For Peace

Those who campaign for peace
Glimpse its World of Bliss
But painfully this miss,
As men sometimes at Peace hiss.

Those who, sue for Peace
Think war “The Messiest Piss”
A friend with a preaching pamphlet
He would read from his toilet…

But should one see only Peace?
Doesn’t such render it a cheap piece?

I’m reminded of a fond niece
‘A Far That’ taking for ‘Near This’…

It’s A-Fighting–To–Stay War
And Death we can’t starve its jaw,
Peace to keep pleading “Please”
And an answer receive with not ease.
