Those Moments Oceans Away

I live so far oceans away can’t get up and visit when I want just hear about all the joys and sorrows weddings, births and demises successes and failures how I wish to live those moments to lock forever in my sight the day his baby girl was born my brother’s face fill with delight to help soak her tears I wasn’t there for my sister when her husband died kept on calling she couldn’t talk the time was to hug and hold Written on 08/12/2016 Contest :It takes four by Broken Wings

Boy can I identify with the sadness in this poem Sara. My family lives over 2,500 miles across the ocean. We save for their trips to visit when they can. A very touching poem that really hits home! ; ) 7

Sara, so heartfelt and sad, but so emotionally conveyed by the words in your well-written four forms or poetry. Best wishes for the contest. 7 Hugs, Sandra
