Those Hills
If you look at that picture
Far beyond the furthest points
You will notice the hills
Sitting in pairs, so still
There are footsteps all over the hills
Where both young and old find refuge
Where buried treasures have seen the sun
Where some dreams come true, and some dreams come falling
Down the hills
Up and down, like the hills
Watch the hills..
The tongue that chooses silence
Straying away from the friction rub of the steel wire
The mind that is a recorder, sometimes a record player
The eyes that are membranes of light
Captured in and reflected out
Listen to the hills
There is a hummingbird that sits atop
Especially in the darkest mornings
And sings that song of hope
And when the night falls, the real night
There is..the hills
Up and down
Life
